What watch does Cristiano Ronaldo wear?

With the 2014 World Soccer Cup ahead I though of getting to know several famous sportsmen and their watches. We start of with Cristiano Ronaldo, currently playing at the forward position at the Spanish soccer club Real Madrid. He’s of Portuguese origin, an excellent player and also known for his eye for fashion.

Ronaldo opened a fashion boutique under the name “CR7” on the island of Madeira, Portugal. He expanded his business with a second clothes boutique in Lisbon in 2008. The stores include diamond-studded belts, jeans with leather pockets and patented buckled loafers. The store also sells slinky outfits for women.In 2013, in partnership with Danish company JBS Textile Group, Ronaldo co-designed a range of underwear.

Jacob & Co.
In the watch department he’s seen in several advertisements of the Jacob & Co. watch brand. And he’s seen wearing several watches of that brand at social occasions.

Tag Heuer
Just last month (april 2014) Tag Heuer announced that they’ve been able to sign Cristiano Ronaldo as one of their ambassador’s. The list he joines is impressive. TAG Heuer ambassador’s have sports stars and celebrities that includes film actors Cameron Diaz and Leonardo DiCaprio, WTA tennis champion Maria Sharapova, Formula One World Champion Jenson Button, World Rally Champion Sébastien Ogier and the entire crew of 2013 America’s Cup winner Oracle Team USA.

I’d like to be able to give proper credit for this image. If you know the photographer, let me know. The watch he wears in this picture is a TAG-Heuer (duh!!). And I think the most likely candidate is this the Carrera Chronograph Leather (shown on the right). The things that make me a bit unsure are the texts within the black part of the dial. Those in the picture seem a bit bigger. If anyone thinks or knows I’m wrong. let me know!
